Dr. Ted Coulter
Veterinarian
Ted graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1992 and started in mixed animal practice in Markdale. Wanting to focus on his passion for working with large animals and their owners, in 1993 he moved closer to home and worked at Miller Veterinary Service in a solely large animal practice. Five years later, he opened Twin County Veterinary Services in Springmount where he practiced for five years before returning to join Dr. James Dykeman back at Miller Vet. Ted likes the variety of large animal practice and is happy working with beef and dairy cattle, horses and small ruminants. He is extremely grateful for the tremendous, diverse and caring client base he gets to serve. He is proud to live with his wife Pam at Sprucedale Farms that his family has owned since 1847 through 7 generations. They have two sons, Zachary and Hayden, that split their time between the farm and the Waterloo region. When not working, Ted and Pam enjoy chasing the boys around to their sporting events, caring for the farm, just pasturing beef calves and growing sweet corn. Ted is looking forward to working with Drs. Waito, Stewart and Freeman at MVS in the years ahead and wish James and Anna all the best in their retirement.
